New Opportunities for Nonprofits Online

It has been a big week for nonprofit organizations looking to use social media to promote their causes.  On Thursday, at the Clinton Global Initiative, YouTube announced the YouTube Nonprofit Program , a way to make it even easier for people to find, watch and engage with nonprofit video content online.

The program works like this: nonprofit organizations in the United States that register will receive their own free nonprofit-specific YouTube channel where they can upload footage of their work, public service announcements, calls to action and the like.  Read more
